A Scenic and Accessible Golf Course
Gyttegård Golf Club is set in a protected, slightly hilly terrain, seamlessly blending wooded areas and open countryside. The course is easy to walk, with no steep climbs, making it enjoyable for all players.
One of Denmark’s highest greens offers views of the surrounding region, Billund.
Shrouded in shadow, the first par3 on the back nine stands as a true test of precision. At 144 meters from the back tee, this deceptively inviting hole dares golfers to attack the pin—yet lurking behind the green is a treacherous downslope, ready to punish the slightest miscalculation.
And to the right, a deep, unforgiving bunker awaits, eager to swallow any shot that strays too far.
Step up, take your swing, and brace yourself—this hole demands nothing less than perfection.
Standing as a silent witness to the course’s rich history, the old manor looms just beyond the 9th green on the left, its timeless presence adding to the course’s charm.
Meanwhile, the clubhouse, a welcoming retreat for weary golfers, proudly overlooks the 18th green, where rounds are won, lost, and forever remembered.
History & Heritage
Founded in 1978 as Sydjysk Golf Club, the club was renamed Gyttegård Golf Club in 1985, inspired by the historic Gyttegård Manor, located behind the 9th green.
